Eligibility: Game is open only to legal residents (age 18 or older) of the United States and the District of Columbia age 18 or older (except residents of Alaska, California, Hawaii, New York and Rhode Island). Employees and immediate family members of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, distributors, printers, advertising and promotion agencies and others involved are not eligible. How to Play the Game: To play: 1) open the lid of specially marked jars of 32 ounce Duke’s Regular or Light Mayonnaise or Whipped Salad Dressing; 2) peel back freshness seal lid; and 3) read message on reverse side of lid. If your Official Game Piece reveals a winning message, you win the prize specified, subject to verification. If it contains any message other than a winning prize message, you are not a prize winner. If you are a potential winner of a $100 in Free Gas prize (subject to verification), mail game piece (retain photocopy for your records) and UPC code from jar label along with your name, address and daytime phone number via certified mail return receipt requested to: Duke’s Win Free Gas Game, c/o Ventura Assoc., 1040 6th Ave., 20th Floor, Dept. How to Enter for a Chance to Win the $2,500 Grand Prize or any unclaimed $100 in Free Gas prize: To enter the drawing for $2,500 in Free Gas for a Year or any unclaimed $100 in Free Gas Prize, visit www.dukesmayo.com/sweepstakes by 2/20/10 and complete and submit the online entry form in its entirety by following all entry instructions. Online entries must be received between 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on 5/15/09 and 11:59 PM (ET) on 2/20/10. Prizes/Estimated Odds of Winning : 325 Instant Win prizes of $100 in Free Gas (“$100 cash prize”) (1:9,935); and 50,000 Free Product prizes (awarded as a coupon for free 32 oz. jar of Duke’s Mayonnaise – up to a $4.00 value) (1:65). One Grand Prize of $2,500 in Free Gas (“Grand Prize”) to be awarded via random drawing. Odds of winning Grand Prize or unclaimed $100 Free Gas Prizes in the random drawing depend on number of eligible entries received and number of prizes remaining. All Free Gas prizes will be awarded in the form of a check. Maximum ARV of all prizes: $235,000. Limit one cash prize per household. All cash prizes are guaranteed to be awarded. Unclaimed Free Product prizes will not be awarded.
Winner selection and notification: The random drawing will be conducted by an independent judging organization (“judges”) whose decisions are final, on or about 3/17/10 from all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by mail or overnight courier. Winners (at the discretion of the judges) will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release ("Affidavit/Release") within fourteen (14) days of the date printed on the notification. If the Affidavit/Release is not returned within the time allowed or if such notification is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected in a separate random drawing from among the remaining non-winning eligible entries. If Grand Prize winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, Grand Prize will be awarded in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute and sign Affidavit/Release on minor’s behalf. No substitutions for prizes. Potential Grand Prize winner must supply Social Security number on Affidavit /Release provided by independent judging organization in advance of prize award. Sponsor will issue a 1099-MISC tax form for the amount of the Grand Prize awarded. Prizes are not transferable except to a surviving spouse. All federal, state and local taxes, including but not limited to income taxes in connection with the winning of prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each winner's name, the prize won, hometown and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including web posting) without additional compensation. Cash prizes awarded to winners approximately 30 days after verification. Coupon prizes are not redeemable for cash. All materials submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Liability: Game pieces that are defective, tampered with or mechanically reproduced/distributed where prohibited by law and not obtained through regular channels will be deemed null and void. Liability for any irregular game piece will be limited to replacement with another. If through production errors, more prizes are distributed than those prize quantities offered in these Official Rules, no more than the actual number of prizes listed in these Official Rules will be awarded. Should such a situation occur, such potential winners will be determined in a random drawing from among all submitted eligible and verified winning prize claims at that prize level. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, stolen, mutilated, illegible, incomplete entries or postage due mail. Neither the Sponsor, nor its designated agent assumes responsibility for third parties’ failure to act in accordance with Sponsor’s instructions pertaining to the implementation of the Game.
Miscellaneous: By participating, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges; and agree to release, defend and indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and all companies involved in this Game and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries and their respective officers, directors, representatives, employees, agents, successors and assigns of each of the foregoing from any and all claims, damage, injury, death, loss, or other liability that may arise in connection with an entrant’s participation in this Game or the awarding, acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. No groups, clubs or organizations may participate in this offer or reproduce or distribute any portion of these Official Rules or game pieces to its members. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Game if fraud, technical failures, illicit activity or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Game and/or drawing, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award any unclaimed cash prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation or modification. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Game or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or a disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Game is a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Virginia without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Virginia, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Virginia. In addition, any dispute relating to the Game (including these Official Rules) shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court having jurisdiction over the subject matter located in the City of Richmond, Virginia. Entrants hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts and waive any claim of forum non conviens or lack of personal jurisdiction they may have.

In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or postage due mail/entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsors and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes they sponsor any person they believe have intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted, (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.
